Barcelona Set to Play Inaugural Fixture at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Bilbao team in domestic competition over two years following their departure for construction to commence.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. After final construction, the stadium’s capacity will reach close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced completed upgrades featured an updated entryway for the team plus modern locker rooms.

Recent Activities

The club conducted an open training session at the Camp Nou on 7 November. The club said they were hoping for permission from Uefa to host the next European match versus the German side next month at the stadium. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
